For Saba & Safta

This song was for my Safta (grandmother) from Russia who died
recently. She and my Romanian Saba (grandfather) were one of those old world European couples that fought like crazy all the time, but stayed together regardless. When she was on her death bed, she told him she
wanted him to just hold her in his arms one last time. When she
died, it hit him just how much he loved her despite the
quarreling.
